چکیده

The objective of this study was to estimate the SID Lys requirement for growth and feed efficiency 170- 220-lb finishing pigs. A total 616 barrows gilts (600 × 241, DNA; initially 168.3 ± 2.7 lb BW) were used in two separate studies each lasting 21 d. Pens pigs blocked by BW randomly allotted 1 7 dietary treatments with 8 10 per pen a randomized complete block design. similar number placed pen. Dietary corn-soybean meal-based formulated 0.58, 0.65, 0.72, 0.79, 0.86, 0.92, 1.00% Lys. There 11 replications treatment levels 0.92% Lys; 6 0.58% treatment; 5 treatment. Increasing increased (linear, P = 0.022) ADG. Feed (quadratic, 0.034) improved, while intake/d, intake/kg gain < 0.001) increasing At both high low ingredient pig prices, cost cost/lb 0.05), revenue tended increase 0.051) as increased. However, at there no differences income over (IOFC) among treatments.

Effects of increasing dietary standardized ileal digestible lysine for gilts grown in a commercial finishing environment.

Three experiments were conducted to determine the effects of increasing dietary standardized ileal digestible (SID) Lys on growing and finishing gilts. Diets in all 3 experiments were corn-soybean meal-based and contained 0.15% l-Lys•HCl and 3% added fat from choice white grease. Desired SID Lys concentrations were achieved by altering levels of corn and soybean meal in the diet. Each experimen...

Effect of Lysine to Digestible Energy Ratio on Growth Performance and Carcass Characteristics in Finishing Pigs

This experiment was performed to investigate the effects of lysine (Lys) to DE ratio on growth performance, and carcass characterics in finishing barrows. Ninety six cross-bred finishing barrows ((Landrace×Yorkshire) ×Duroc, average BW 58.25±0.48 kg) were assigned as a randomized complete block design by 2 energy levels and 4 Lys:DE ratios on the basis of BW to one of 8 treatments with 3 replic...

Estimation of the standardized ileal digestible valine-to-lysine ratio in 13- to 32-kilogram pigs.

Three experiments were conducted to determine the optimum standardized ileal digestible Val-to-Lys (SID Val:Lys) ratio for 13- to 32-kg pigs. In Exp. 1, 162 pigs weaned at 17 d of age (8 pens/treatment) were used, and a Val-deficient basal diet containing 0.60% l-Lys·HCl, 1.21% SID Lys, and 0.68% SID Val was developed (0.56 SID Val:Lys). Performance of pigs fed the basal diet was inferior to a ...

Evaluation of standardized ileal digestible lysine requirement of nursery pigs from seven to fourteen kilograms.

Four experiments were conducted to determine the standardized ileal digestible (SID) Lys requirement of pigs (Sus scrofa) from 7 to 14 kg. In Exp. 1, 294 pigs (6.8 kg BW) were used in a 28-d growth trial with 7 pigs per pen and 7 pens per treatment. Treatment diets were fed from d 0 to 14, and a common diet was fed from d 14 to 28. The 6 SID Lys levels tested were 1.15, 1.23, 1.30, 1.38, 1.45, ...
